Lakeside Pottery's 2013 Weekly Summer Day Camp programs are designed for children to experience how to work in an actual Fairfield County pottery studio. During each weekly camp camp program, the participants will:
- Learn to use the pottery wheel and throw pots successfully
- Learn to sculpt with clay and create beautiful art projects
- Paint / Glaze art projects completed during the week (four projects in total).
The summer camp activities will utilize the children's creativity and is a lot of fun. The children will have great sense of achievement and will feel very proud of what they have accomplished (see some camp projects). Classes are taught by our full time ceramic artists and instructors who are experienced with how to maximize children's discovery and creativity. By the end of the week, campers will have finished four projects and will have a solid knowledge of pottery and ceramic art. No prior pottery experience is required.
Camp sessions begin June 24, and ends on Aug 15th, 2013 .

- Cost: $295; toolset is required for additional $20 (available at Lakeside Pottery)
- Minimum Age: 8 years old (7 years old will be considered)
- Camp schedule: Every summer week starting June 24, 2013. Mon.-Thus
- Limited to 14 students per camp session
