This program was designed to train the team the basics of handbuilding / sculpting and work closely with all to make a clay project using the learned skill and utilize each participants creativity and motor skills.

The Exercise: 20 - 30 minutes tutorial about working with clay utilizing "slab" technique. Each individual decides, with our guidance, what they wish to accomplish (e.g., tray, box, vase, abstract, etc.). The remaining time is used to build the project. Two of our professional artists / instructors will work with each individual to insure success.
Potter's wheel demonstration (optional) and hands-on to those who are interested (they'll get dirty). The potter's wheel demonstration will unveil the mystery of the potter's wheel and how one can learn so much about themselves and reach a higher-self perspective.
Finished artwork: All hand-built items made by participants will be glazed and fired with the color chosen by each individual. The glazed artwork will be ready approx. two weeks later.
Group Size: Minimum eight participants and maximum 18 participants
Program Length: Two hours.
Catering: Light food, such as muffins / coffee or pizza / soft drinks, can be served.
Cost:
- $45 per person
- $15 per average size project made for material and firing.
- $75 for potter's wheel demonstration
- Catering cost - our cost is transferred to you plus $50 for setup & cleanup
